I’ve been noticing more and more people who label themselves Christian that claim a belief in Jesus Christ but somehow have added to that belief that Jesus Christ is not the only way to Heaven, that there are other ways. The bible clearly tells us that this is not so. Some people have decided in their mind that God is too good and loving to throw anyone into hell and they can’t believe in a God that would kill innocent people or allow such things to go on in the world so they have created a God that they can live with in their own mind. He is not God he is their imaginary friend. I would ask these people, Did God not send his own innocent, blameless, sinless son to die on the cross to atone for the sins of the world? Do these people not realize that Christ Jesus never sinned, he was innocent and he did not deserve to suffer and die? Do these people not realize that everyone of us from Adam on up deserved the punishment that was laid upon Christ? Sure they make the argument that they are a good person, there are no good people, there are none righteous, no not one! So why would God not throw someone into hell who is still in their sin, when he offered you a pardon? God hates sin and he offered His son to pay for your sins and if you don’t accept that then you will pay for your own sins.
If you want to call yourself a Christian, you also have to accept the Holy Bible (not some book called the message either) as your plumb-line, your guide book and you can’t separate Jesus from the bible, if you think you believe upon the Lord Jesus but are not willing to believe what his word says then you don’t believe in Jesus Christ. People need to choose which side they are on, because it’s one or the other, there is no fence riding with God. I really don’t understand why some people want to call themselves Christians when they despise everything about Jesus, Jesus was and is not tolerant of other religions, other Gods, homosexuality or any other sin for that matter. It is very simple folks, if you are a sinner that is not saved by the grace of Jesus Christ, you will pay for your sins yourself. And for those of you that say this is just your opinion, we are all entitled to our opinion, your wrong, this is not my opinion, it’s God’s opinion and it says so in his Holy word.
1 Kings 18:21
And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word.
Lets look at a few more verses to see what God has to say about all this:
1 John 5:5-12 (New King James Version)
5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
The Certainty of God’s Witness
6 This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness on earth:[a] the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.
9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which[b] He has testified of His Son. 10 He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. 11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
That is pretty clear there if you don’t have the son (Jesus Christ) you don’t have eternal life. No if and’s or but’s about it. There are many folks out there that have had dreams, visions, death experiences etc. who witness another Jesus based on the experience or vision they had. I’m not saying a person can’t have a dream or vision or death experience but if you come out of that experience with a testimony or witness that is contrary to what God’s word says and the witness of God then your experience wasn’t from God, God is not a liar and he isn’t going to show you something in your experience that is contrary to His word, ever!!!
1 John 5:20-21 (New King James Version)
20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
1 John 2:1-2 (New King James Version)
1 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
Romans 3:10-26 (New King James Version)
10 As it is written:
“ There is none righteous, no, not one;
11 There is none who understands;
There is none who seeks after God.
12 They have all turned aside;
They have together become unprofitable;
There is none who does good, no, not one.” [a]
13 “ Their throat is an open tomb;
With their tongues they have practiced deceit”; [b]
“ The poison of asps is under their lips”;[c]
14 “ Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”[d]
15 “ Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways;
17 And the way of peace they have not known.”[e]
18 “ There is no fear of God before their eyes.”[f]
19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
God’s Righteousness Through Faith
21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all[g] who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
