Here is another hymn from my old 1875 hymn book, Brightest and Best,  Biglow and Main.  This one by Mrs.Anne S.Hawks and R.Lowry.  One of my dear blog sisters needs some encouragement today along with her family, please lift them up in prayer today.  And know Jesus is surely near!

O my brother! are you weary?  Does the way seem long and drear? Wait one moment, wait for

Jesus, He is surely very near; very near, very near, He is surely very near.

Is the cross you bear too heavy for a faith so weak and small? Wait one moment, wait for Jesus, He will come and lift it all; He will come, He will come, He will come and lift it all.

Oh! how sweet to wait for Jesus!  Let us tarry by the way, Till the brightness of His coming Turns our darkness into day; Let us wait, He will come, Turning darkness into day
