Recently I have been giving this topic a lot of thought, should Christians agree to disagree where God’s word is concerned or not? Through the sermon’s at church yesterday God confirmed my answer for me. There are certain things that I can agree to disagree on with a Christian brother or sister where the bible is concerned but there are other things that I have to take a stand on and be firm. If I agree to disagree with someone on something as vital as salvation by grace through faith, which is what I do believe then I am agreeing to compromise with that person saying you believe what you want about it and and will believe what I believe about it and we can continue to discuss the bible and all is well. This is wrong and I will not do it, I have to be willing to stand up for what I believe, thousands of Christians through history gave their lives and died as martyr’s because they refused to compromise.
Those who have chosen to reject salvation by grace, salvation through the blood of the lamb adding baptism, works or anything else to salvation will no longer have an audience on this blog. I will not debate this, my comments will be moderated and those contrary to salvation by grace will be deleted. My blog will not be used as a forum for people who reject Jesus Christ as savior, if you believe you have some part in your salvation then I suggest you start your own blog or forum. For those of you who are confused and don’t understand grace and have been taught salvation is through something other than grace bought with the precious blood of Christ you can feel free to ask questions and discuss here and I will be happy to make every effort to help you. I am writing this to inform those who wish to argue and debate that they can go elsewhere to spread their false teachings. This blog is not a place to come to argue or debate and it will not be tolerated here.
Blessings to you all!
Ephesians 2:8-9 (New King James Version)
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Romans 11:6 (New King James Version)
6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace.[a] But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.
Ephesians 1:3-14 (New King James Version)
Redemption in Christ
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both[a] which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who[b] is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. (Please note, you trusted and believed after you heard the gospel of your salvation, also trusting and believing are not works, if they were Ephesians 2:8-9 would be a lie, salvation is the gift of God and not of works lest anyone should boast.)
